Day 5: 10 Interesting facts about yourself

So...I was dreading this one...I had doing "facts about self" type things. I don't know if they're interesting, or just random, or given, or blahblahblah. I shall try my best though..
[sits in room looking around and listening to music instead of thinking of interesting facts]

1. I got one of my photos published in a Calendar once. When I took photography in 10th grade we did manual photography, and my teacher had submitted one of my photographs into a contest I suppose and came back to me at like the end of the year showing me that my photo was put in the calendar lol. It was her favorite photo of mine. I remember when I developed it and showed it to her she had me do it so many times to make sure it was perfect so she could use it. That really gave me such a boost of confidence. P.S. she was/is my favorite art teacher to this day.
2. I inherit people's "catch phrases". Especially when I'm in a relationship. If I talk to someone a lot, and they have a saying that they just say A LOT then it gets sucked into my vocabulary. I have inherited "welp", "it be like that sometimes", "oi", and most recently "I guess". There are more, but these are the ones I remember most. Oi has stuck with me the longest, and I still use it to this day.
3. I get bored/tired of things really easily. I like change a lot, and sameness makes me uncomfortable. I used to really get bored of relationships, and now when I don't get tired of someone I'm really surprised and take it as a good thing lol. It's why I have such a funky [in my opinion] wardrobe, or possibly why I have so many different collections. It's also why I can't ever focus on one thing for too long....setting myself up for failure TT_TT 
4. I love nature. I love being outside, even though most of the year it wants to kill me due to my allergy induced asthma allergicness to tree sperm and living in GA. I pretty much love all seasons. Winter is cold outside so I get to enjoy the lovely winter nature in my sweaters, fall has beautiful colors, summer is all full and summery nature, and spring...well spring is the kill me kind of nature lol, but it's also my birthday time so I still love it :D.
5. Smells make me happy...nice smells that is. If you were to hug me or walk by me and I get a wif of the scent you're wearing, and I tell you that you smell nice then you have just made a portion of my day. I don't do it often because I fear that most people would take it the creep route instead of the compliment route.
6. I love spicy food! So much now that when I order food at restaurants [by the way I spelled restaurant correct on my first try...eff yes!] and it's not spicy I say "hmm this would have tasted better if it were spicy." So much that if I order spicy food I most times ask for extra spicy because restaurants don't know what spicy means...My tastebuds have been altered o.o
7. I love playing dress up. I wish I had a designated friend who would play dress up with me and go out in public in outlandish outfits and/or cosplays from time to time.
8. My favorite person in the entire world [If I could only pick one] is my mother. Hands down, no discussion, dot com, period.
9. I have a pet Guinea Pig even though I am allergic to him. I have named him Grampy because he is old man colors lol. He is the fourth Guinea Pig I have had in my lifetime. I die every time I clean his cage lol. I have just recently acquired those doctor's masks thingies so I can wear them whilst cleaning his cage. He stays in an extra room across the hall from me because if he were in my room I would never be able to breathe o.o.
10. My favorite sea creature is the octopus, and my favorite land animal is the Emu.

Day 1: Make A Wishlist

• The first thing that I always wish for when doing anything in which I'm allowed to make a random wish is Happiness. Make that Genuine Happiness. It's truly what I want in the end. I know somewhat of everyone does, but hey it's my list.
• I wish to get back into anime and manga. It has been such a long time since I've actually sat down and watched a whole anime, or read full volumes of manga. Last night was the start though! From about 12:30am-2:30am I watched epi. 1-3 of Tamako Market. [Which I will review once finished] I also have a list of manga I would love to purchase from amazon once I have "recreational" money to spend.
• My third wish would be to be able to have enough money saved to move out. I do have freedom, but at the same time my father sees me as still being 12 years old. It stunts the whole happiness wish from being fulfilled most times. 
• OoooOooo I want to go to concerts! I've been getting emails from Ticketmaster and Live Nation with all these awesome sounding concerts in my area, but I need the whole "recreational" fund thing for this as well....and someone to go with..
• My second to last wish [yes I labeled it the second to last wish] will be to actually organize my room. Getting rid of extra clutter. I'm like a stage 1 hoarder or something, but one that knows I'm doing it and really really wants to get rid of unused things. I don't just want to throw it away though...oh lawd that's what they say on the show too...great
• Lastly, I want MoMo to be able to afford the DSLR she needs because a part of me really really REALLY wants to see the youtube vid ideas she'll come up with :)

That's all I can think of wish-wise at the moment. Aside from the of course World Peace, and Happiness for all such and suchness lol. If you'd like to partake in the Challenge I welcome you to!

So karmaloop has been sending me mad coupon codes this past week, and I had a little extra cash from my ebay sales so I bought a little something something for myself...along with a little something for my brother's christmas gift. At first I was going back to get these really cute stocking that would have been paired quite adorable with my winter attire....but when I did get back to my cart...they were gone TT_TT so I kinda full-filled one of my little guilty pleasure wants. For the longest, I have wanted a pair of Huf socks. I was even talking to my boyfriend about them today while we were surfing PLNDR [Im on plndr everyday I swear -_- rehab]. They didn't have any of the socks available in the Huf shop on plndr, so I decided to look through karmaloop and low and behold they had them for $12. I snagged this pair

The maroon on top of the grey is quite aesthetically pleasing. There were two other pairs, but I preferred this. These will be a nice addition to my hipster boy wardrobe, HA. And please no judging btw :3. After using all my codes these $18 pair of socks [after s&h was added] came down to $7.88 shipping included.

R.A.P. Poem

I am in a club called Random Acts of Poetry, and through the two years-ish I've been apart of it I've been growing poetryally [yes that is now a word]. I first wrote a very personal poem after being inspired by one of the other members. It was very long and quite quite personal. This next one I wrote I felt is much better. Sweet and to the point. Shows some metaphorical growth and some internal rhyme possibly. I just know there's growth in it from poems I usually write lol. But yeah yeah, I'm going to share it...that's the just of all this nonsense paragraph...ok here goes:

I'm a 20 year old busy brain

I'd say busy body, but my body stays put 

While my mind tries to contain

Everything

And when I say everything

I mean the ups, downs, and all arounds

The memories of those good days on those 

bad days wondering when it's going to be good again

Those what ifs, buts, and ands

that ish my mental just cant stand

Constantly wishing there was an off switch

an escape from this

A mind glitch

That would open up a secret door to a secret world

That my mind and I can explore together

Without worry of whatever, wherever, whoever

But then I remember nothings perfect

And that this mind scribble is just a side-effect 

of this disease called life.

Versatile Blogger Award

Hola chicas, and chicos. I was nominated by my dear Momo for the Versatile blogger award. Now to tell you 7 random facts about me, which is now a bit hard to do since I just finished reading Momo's and now they're in my mind lol. 

1. Spicy food is my absolute favorite flavor of food. If it's spicy on the menu then I most likely want it. My favorite "genres" of food would have to be, in this order: Creole, Indian, Oriental. All very tasty, and all know how to work their spicy lol.

2. I'm a gift giver. I love to buy gifts for people, and it be what they really want. That smile is what I work for when it comes to gift giving holiday time [Christmas/Birthdays]. I also enjoy being a gift receiver, but it always seems that I'm a bit better at reading people then they are me lol.

3. I've learned that I enjoy doodling over drawing. When doodling I just get out every idea that pops out in my mind, but with drawing I have to actually feel obligated to be precise and perfect. Doodling, the preciseness comes out in the comfortability.

4. I'm one crafty mofo. I'm almost always making something or altering something. Crafting is what I want to do with my future. Anything creative, bring it on!

5. I love learning about different cultures, and would love to travel everywhere. Languages, traditions, attire, everyday life, I love learning it all. The differences between my own culture and another are so interesting to me. Or just learning about different people tickle's my fancy. Differences from person to person are amazing.

6. I am a collections collector. I say that because I collect a lot of things lol. Sweaters, leggings, nail polish, rocks, crafting supplies, posters, drawings by friends, kawaii, manga, etc etc. I just can't put all my focus on one item. 

7. My mind is all over the place all the time. Have a conversation with me and you'll see. I will jump back and revisit other topics when I have the thought back in my mind, and get distracted by other topics in my mind [but that's hardly ever shown outside]. The only downside is that when someone asks me "what's on your mind" my mind clears...and I'm left answering "I don't know" lol because I really don't know anymore XD.

Review: Forever21 Love&Beauty Nail Polish: Glow in the dark + Diamond Top Coat

I recently went on a little "shopping spree"on Friday September 28th. On that little spree, I picked up some polishes from Forever21. I got 3 Glow-In-The-Dark colors and a clear Diamond Top coat.

My first thought on them was, "man these layers are going to be too thin," but I only had to put on like 2 coats [which is my normal amount] of the color for a decent enough thickness. Sidenote praise: I stayed on my nail and away from my actual skin pretty well :D. The Diamond top coat...is amazing. The top coat I normally use takes forever to COMPLETELY dry and I wake up with sheet prints on smudged parts or wrinkles, but like five-ten minutes after putting on my top coats my nails were completely dry. I was sitting on them, they were knocking against surfaces, it was glorious lol. 

The glow effect is actually visible, so the bottles didn't lie lol.

I can't bring myself to rate this purchase because I want to give it a 10/10 since there was nothing wrong, but I feel like I shouldn't so I'll just say I'm quite happy with this purchase. They were $2.80 each when I purchased them, but now they're $0.99 online -_- lol.

All of the things

My mind is constantly all over the place. Right now I'm thinking about this semester, how what I'd like to do with the future will go in conversation [oh the vagueness], Christmas, Macrame bracelet making, plushie animal earrings, eBay, this weekend, rocky horror, etc etc.
I don't want to talk about this semester or the "future" so I'll skip that... people make things vague for a reason..
I'll start with Christmas, which includes macrame, plush earrings, and eBay. Well since Starfish needs monties for christmas shopping and has no job, she's been selling quite a few things on ebay. Mostly my kawaii collection. I've been meaning to downsize it for forever. The fb shop I ran for a bit could only do so much, and then everybody wanting to get things for practically free was way too much for my patience. I had a good bit of sticker flakes and memo sheets to make grabbies, so those are bringing in a good bit of revenue. I also decided to put the color themed grab bags and other such single items up for sale also. I mean I wasn't getting as much as I wanted for them, but it's close. I'm also trying to keep my macrame bracelet making game up, but for one bracelet takes fooooorrrrreeevvvveeerrrrrrr. I manly stick to the Minecraft Creeper ones since they're most popular, but like I said it takes me like 3 hours to make one =_=.  I've just started making quite cute plush animal asymmetric dangle earrings. So far, I've made a bunny with carrot and a lion with steak. I may do a giveaway for a pair when I make enough variety of animals. I'll also list them on my etsy when they're ready lol.
Why this weekend racks my brain: Friday I have to host a Passion party so I need to buy refreshments/beverages and make sure there's enough room for the amount of people that may be coming. I'm also trying to get a little "get together" of sorts for afterwards done.. After that, I have a Trixie/Trannie/Mannie workshop that I must attend on Saturday. I have to do my makeup and wear my costume. Lastly, we come to Sunday. I have to wake at 10am for an unpaid photo-shoot dealing with chalk dust and smoke -_-...I have asthma...and am not getting paid...AND ITS AT FRICKEN 10am!!! I don't even know the fricken location yet. It's like I don't want to ask any info cuz I don't really care about it since Im unpaid. I mean it's for my campus fashion mag, and publications are always nice for resumes but these people post my photos online and dont credit me for 1. 2. I had been the photographer for the fashion mag for 2 issues [they do an issue a semester] for my sophomore year, and it seemed that they had already picked a new photographer but then I got a text from the president [maybe president I dunno what her position is] asking if I'd like to do the photography for them again. So what was the problem with the other girl? lol. 3. I don't like being not paid for my time and ish. They wanted me to do a shoot monday too...kiss my sass lol.

So I just noticed that all of this is probably some serious rambles since I am quite tired and it's 2:49am....so Im going to go to bed and forget what I was typing ^_^

Back from the Post Office...

On account of me needing to mail/pick up a few packages I took a little trip to the local Sex shop for a passion party I'm hosting in October [Oct. 5]. My photo book from artscow came in and let me tell you...it is beautiful. I'm happy to keep it in my purse at all times. The photos came out so nicely and the order I like...even though I put them in randomly lol. I think it's a decent little "portfolio". At least a beginner one. I'm still working on my ish >_<. Then I got my Square card reader....I may try to work a booth at my campus' annual arts fest...seems useful lol. Lastly the sex shop. I got some penis balloos, penis pencil toppers, and flavored condoms. I either want to do goodie bags or like game prizes. Maybe I'll do a raffle prize pack type thing oooo. Or maybe like 3 prize packs...I'm excited lol. Now enjoy the photos below :3

Well hello there, guess what...? I shall be a Trixie in my campus' rendetion of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Oh the excitement.

Here's what I wore to my audition.

I had to [1.] dance around awkwardly and sexily, [2.] make orgasm noises, [3.] spell my name with my bum...which just turned into a booty shakin' contest..., [4.] and give a chair a lapdance. I do believe I successfully made everything awkward, but I guess I slid a little sexy in there lol.

If you've either watched RHPS via movie or play, you know what goes down lol. Here's what my costume should consist of as a Trixie:

I am in love with everything, but I'd have to say my favorite would have to be the Sole Le Vie heels. I opened their box and looked at them and instantly fell in love. They make me want to go clubbing. They look better than the photos though I didn't know the shiny stuff [can't remember what I wanted to call it TT_TT] was gold. Still looks really good with it. I'm so darn tall in them haha.
