Review: Tamako Market..thus far

Tamako Market

I have fallen victim to yet another "cute" anime. The first episode I watched...I was going to give up...because I thought "Oh gah the cuteness is too much!", but I am very happy that I stayed with it. There are only 8 episodes available right now, and they have been quite the delight [can't wait for epi 9 to be subbed!]. I was actually in a not so good mood last night [when I started the anime], and it has put me in higher spirits. I feel like it tries to sneak in little bits of affirmations here and there through each episode. And the "Master" reminds me a bit of the Pigeon coffee shop owner from Animal Crossing lol. I think I'd rate it 5 stars. I don't want to continue and give any spoilers away :). If you like cute slice-of-life animes then I think you'll enjoy it as I have. Onto Sasami-san at Ganbaranai. Hope it turns out well

Review: Forever21 Love&Beauty Nail Polish: Glow in the dark + Diamond Top Coat

I recently went on a little "shopping spree"on Friday September 28th. On that little spree, I picked up some polishes from Forever21. I got 3 Glow-In-The-Dark colors and a clear Diamond Top coat.
Orange, Green, Blue, Top Coat

I was painting both my toenails and fingernails
Before
After
My first thought on them was, "man these layers are going to be too thin," but I only had to put on like 2 coats [which is my normal amount] of the color for a decent enough thickness. Sidenote praise: I stayed on my nail and away from my actual skin pretty well :D. The Diamond top coat...is amazing. The top coat I normally use takes forever to COMPLETELY dry and I wake up with sheet prints on smudged parts or wrinkles, but like five-ten minutes after putting on my top coats my nails were completely dry. I was sitting on them, they were knocking against surfaces, it was glorious lol.

The glow effect is actually visible, so the bottles didn't lie lol.
L-R: Orange, Blue, Green, Orange
I can't bring myself to rate this purchase because I want to give it a 10/10 since there was nothing wrong, but I feel like I shouldn't so I'll just say I'm quite happy with this purchase. They were $2.80 each when I purchased them, but now they're $0.99 online -_- lol.

Review: Vibrations by Glebstar

Ok, so I've never done a music review before but I felt I had to. I recently decided to check my soundcloud account to see of the new music people were making, and I came across Glebstar's new stuff. It seems he's released an album called Vibrations [<--press to listen. press to --> buy]. Debut album (◕ヮ◕)*:・゚
Tracklist:
01. Can Reggae Be Copied (intro) [00:29]
02. Willy Wonka [03:44]
03. Natural Mystic [03:01]
04. Dread Dub (extended mix) [05:15]
05. Shakedown [03:46]
06. Lovely Thang [04:10]
07. Vibrations [04:12]
08. Can’t Help My Self [03:05]
09. Mellow Mood [03:44]
10. Get Down [04:20]
11. Bounce [04:13]
12. Little Girl [04:30]
13. Mindless & Broken [04:01]
14. Southern Hospitality (outro) [01:56]

Out of 14 songs, I can say I favor a good 10 [favorite are bolded]. That's really good I'd have to say. In my opinion, if you like dubstep as it was before it became poppy then you'll like Vibrations. It's not too much going on *coughskrillexcough*, and it's pretty chill. I suggest to listen with some good headphones for best experience.  I also really like Glebstar's Dubstep remix to Congo Natty by Get Ready, which he has a free download of available right now.

Review: Black Rock Shooter

Disclaimer: possible spoilers
So, I just got done watching Black Rock Shooter, and while It's still in my mind, I'll do a review on it :3.
First things first, the series is only 8 episodes long but I kind of enjoyed that. Every now and then, I prefer series to be short so I don't feel like it's going to take me forever to finish lol. My friend believes that you can't grow emotional attachment to the characters if the series is so short, but hey I cried at the end of this one!
At first, I joked about the episodes as I watched them. All I could think about was "Is this what Junior High Japanese girls have to go through just to make friends?!", and then there were the Lesbian jokes. After getting passed that, I realized there's a deeper meaning and a cute little lesson. Not only is the anime "cute" and "girly", but it is quite action-packed.

I give it a 7.5 out of 10 and a "yes, watch this".
