Thrifting: Style.ly

Ever found yourself online looking through clothing websites, looking for sales and deals. Every caught yourself wishing you had a goodwill via interwebz? Well the next best thing I'd say would be style.ly. 

The just of the site is that you can rack up on these "points" called style points, and if you rack up enough then you can use those points on your order to make what you pay, less. The downside is that while on the website (and away from it long periods of time), the points amount decreases. You can earn points by logging in every day, commenting on items, receiving gifts, etc etc. 
People list their used, and new items for a discounted price at most times. You can find vintage to modern items. Not only can you buy, but you can also sell your own items wanting to let go of. 
In my own opinion, buying is quite safe because the seller doesn't receive the payment until they've entered a delivery confirmation. With that said as a seller you must always purchase delivery confirmation for your packages before receiving the payment.
I have been both a buyer and a seller. 3 items sold, and 2 items bought. I would have to say that the transactions went quite smoothly. It's quite easy to list, and it's free to do so.

My most recent purchase is the Woman's Sweater...which was today (≧◡≦). I had racked up about $10 in points and decided it was time to add to my sweater collection. I really like the selection of sweaters style.ly has to offer, so I was hell bent on a new sweater lol. I came across this beauty which was listed for $13.50. After I used my points, and after style.ly's slice [there is a cut that style.ly has to receive] I only paid $6.30 in total for this beauty.

Sale, what: Forever21 [PLNDR recap]

Well first things first, I bought my Sunglasses x Hat combo from PLNDR last night :3

My total with shipping came up to $16.81. #feelsgood. Oh and I forgot that you can't use your credits codes with promo codes..so I still have my $10 credits for when I do my "contest winnings" shopping.

Onto the main focus of this post...Awesome F21 sale going on lemme tell ya...

I had completely forgotten that Labor Day Sales existed until I received an email with this beautiful creature blaring at me. It was like fate because I had just been on the website yesterday wanting to get a couple things...and because of this sale...I did get a couple things...(ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:・ﾟ✧

As you can see, I got another pair of sunnies. *rubs hands together* My cute hipster boy collection is growing....excellent (๑•̀ω•́๑). I also got a few, more feminine items. As you can see I like to have my belleh out lol, but also it's very VERY hot on my campus so anything to take some of the heat problem of my poofy hair away. My total with shipping/tax included came to $19.19 and was $11.98 before s/t. Just taking a sec to let it all soak in...a pair of sunglasses and three tops for $11.98...that's like 2.99 a piece. Even looking at it with s/t included is like $4.99 a piece.... #feelsgood
With that said, be expecting a shopping haul video o.o.. If you're getting your shop on too..share ●◡● I love sharing shopping "sprees" and such. The joys of shopaholics lol

Also, I finally figured out a layout I'd like for my "kawaii shop" and it's here on blogger. I decided to open a Blogshop :3 Starfish's Otaku Blogshop 

Along with the shop, I will be hosting a giveaway after the upcoming anime convention where I live [end of September] for my shop ^_^. I'm thinking a nice little otaku Grabbie type thing. If you purchase items before that, you're automatically entered.

Sales, what: PLNDR

We all see that right? All those sales deals! I'm not the only one seeing that am I?!? PLNDR what are you trying to do to me? I don't mind at all lol. I'm still waiting on the $100 gift credits to come in form the "Show Your Olympic Style" Contest [I came in second place by the way]. Luckily for me I still have a $10 gift credit on my account, so I will be buying from the "Hats & Accessories" category once 10pm hits!

These Sunglasses x Hat Combo will be a dope addition to my "wanting to dress like a cute hispter boy" wardrobe haha. 10pm couldn't come any sooner! In the mean time...I think I'll go make breakfast for dinner :D

Youtube lyfe + Fashion

Slowly but surely "perfecting" my new youtube page. Just followed all the people from my old channel that I wanted to follow, reworked the background a bit, added my links, and customized the tabs. I'm actually getting really excited about this channel. A new slab is what I needed. I've even come up with an idea for a "series" type thing. I call it the DGAF guide :D. I decided on it due to my "unconventional" ways of doing certain things, so it will be vids of me going about situations the Starfish way lol. First in the series is my Leggings vid. 

Though I am embarrassed by the bottom shots and the accidental undie peeks, I hadn't noticed they existed til I was starting my editing, and by then I was too lazy to want to redo it so I went with it. I'm 20 years old, I'm not a child so there shouldn't be much problem other than people not wanting to see it. For that I will apologize. I mean I had to have the focus on the leggings anyways, so I knew what I was getting into. I did want to show the detail of front and back since some are different.

Enough about that, and on to the next topic. I had done a Bunny Make-up tutorial for Momo, but I forgot to set the focus...so the whole vid is blurry...so I'll need to do that one again. I also still need to do my twist-out tutorial for a tumblr follower. The bunny make-up will defo be in the DGAF series lol. 

Though I have a real love for masculine attire, I have been getting eyes for more feminine clothing now-a-days. I randomly came across a couple discount clothings sites that have me pining for shopping sprees lol. The first is tobi. The header phrase is "30% off New Arrivals Daily"...what a beautiful phrase don't you think? Just some of the items the lovely tobi has to offer:

Speaking of sweaters [well showing photos of..] I noticed that I have a sweater collection along with my leggings collection. I have some serious heart eyes for sweaters. Ever since I started shopping at goodwill, I always pick up a couple no matter what time of year lol. Even in regular stores. Better yet, especially in regular stores. Sweaters are on sale in the Summer! I remember I got one for $3 with tax *dances*

Collection: New Addition

I had done a post explaining my new obsession to interestingly printed leggings, and how I had decided to go on collecting them and such. With the awesome amount I had found whilst on my search for good cheap leggings, I started on making bracelets to have a little extra spending money. I had my eye on a sweet pair that I promised myself I would purchase when I had enough. I had already spent some of the extra moneys on three pairs of leggings for a giveaway, so I had to wait a little longer than I wanted lol. BUT the day has finally come, and I ordered them yesterday. 

Their printed with a half galaxy design. Almost piddled myself when I saw them, and for only $18.42 with shipping. Oh yes indeed lol. I think it will be a lovely addition to my growing collection.

For the future [dun dun duuuun]

So for some reason youtube keeps sending me emails saying I can monetize my videos, but it wont allow me to connect with the email I have set up with it. I have grown out of the xMmmsSoupx name pretty much, so I decided to do a completely new channel. I know some of my subscribers aren't active, so I wanted to do this to also bring out my active subscribers. I'm totally ok with starting over as I have done it many times before. I will do one last video on my xMmmsoupx channel which will be me announcing a giveaway. WHOO HOO GIVEAWAY! I'm not releasing any details on it til then though, but I like the idea :D. I think I got my video editor to work again also. I updated my computer :3 haha. So I will be able to do all the ideas I've been excited to do!!
